Pigment Retention: UV exposure affects pigment retention, so staying out of the sun helps your brows heal properly. 

Post-Treatment Care: After microblading, it’s essential to avoid excessive sun exposure to take care of your new brows.

✨ After about 14 days, when the micro-wounds close up, you can enjoy the sun with proper protection! Always apply SPF and consider wearing a hat. Protecting your microbladed brows from the sun is key to maintaining the pigment’s longevity.

Follow these steps to ensure a smoother procedure and better overall results from your Cosmetic Tattoo. ✨

💊 Avoid Certain Medications: Refrain from taking blood-thinning medications (like aspirin or ibuprofen), supplements (such as fish oil or vitamin E), and alcohol for at least 24-48 hours before the procedure as they can increase bleeding and bruising.

☕ No Caffeine or Alcohol: Avoid caffeine and alcohol for 24 hours before the procedure, as they can increase sensitivity and bleeding.

🌞 Avoid Sun Exposure: Do not tan or get sunburned before your appointment. Sunburned skin can be more sensitive and affect the results.

🚫 Retinoids and Exfoliants: Stop using retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, and other strong exfoliating products at least one week before the procedure, as they can make the skin more sensitive and affect healing.

💉 Botox and Fillers: Avoid getting any Botox or dermal fillers at least two weeks before your cosmetic tattoo appointment.

🧖‍♀️ Exfoliate Gently: Lightly exfoliate the area to be treated a few days before to remove dead skin cells, allowing better pigment absorption. Do not over-exfoliate or irritate the skin.
