With the success of the Dragged Out Competitions at REVOLVER Video bar in 2018, Revolver has decided to continue a new way to DRAG OUT Weekly
Here’s how it works: Starting Jan/8th/2020
REVOLVER Video Bar will be sponsoring a weekly Dragged Out Competition, with a limited number of preregistered performers, (8) (Performers can register at [email protected]) This is an Amateur Drag Competition, with special dates TBA for “Working Girl Performers”,Previous Winners & All Stars. Competing in the Weekly Dragged Out Event, Does Not Exclude performers from reregistering for the $5,000 Dragged Out Event when those dates are announced.
Each week the performers will be voted on by customers with voting tickets. The weekly cash prize is awarded to the contestant with the most votes, minus “a Smart $50” to the second place winner. The weekly cash prize is provided by, patrons donating a $1 upon entry, and contestants paying a $5 entry fee to the competition. The total amount of the prize money accumulated from the “Kitty box” and contestant entry fees well than be matched by REVOLVER.
Example:If the Kitty Box Prize money is a total of $250, collected from $1 entry donations from customers, and $5 contestant entry fees, Revolver Video bar will add an additional $250 to the Kitty Box, making the grand prize of the night $500.The winner with the most votes would than receive $450, and the second place winner will receive $50.REVOLVER does not receive any of the money collected at the door, or the entry fee, that is strictly for the cash prize for contestants.
Tickets are acquired by donating the $1 cover to the door (which is added to the cash prize ) and will receive 1 voting ticket per person. NO CUSTOMER is allowed to purchase tickets. Tickets are also acquired by purchasing cocktails at the bar. 1 voting ticket for well cocktails/beer/wine. 2 voting tickets for purchasing premium cocktails/sponsored cocktails.
No one patron may purchase more than 5 cocktails in a single transaction.

Contestants must preregister to be eligible for the weekly dragged out event. Email to register at [email protected] Contestants are required to pay a $5 cash entry fee, which goes towards the 1st/2nd place cash prizes. REVOLVER does not keep any of the entry fee monies.
Contestants are required to paint their own face.
Contestants are required to wear heels/ Drag Kings Boots/Shoes
Contestants must be 21 years of age or older.
Contestants will provide their own Makeup, Costumes, Music
Contestants must sign a waiver/agreement before performing on the stage.
Contestants will arrive ready, or are more than welcome to change costumes in the green room out back. The Green Room is for Performers only.
Contestants may choose their own song/song length, unless otherwise specified.
*Any contestant involved in cheating, dishonest conduct, bullying, racial comments or, in short, unsportsmanlike conduct will forfeit their rights to participate in the competition, and its winnings.
*Contestants will preregister before competing. Each contestant will receive their own voting box upon arrival at the club. Voting boxes will not be put out until the contestant is on the premises.
**Updated 1/28 *Contestants who win the first place prize may compete to hold the winning spot for a total of 3 competitions after their win. After a total of 4 wins in a row, they move out of the “amateur category” for the weekly amateur competition. They are still eligible for the $5000 Dragged Out Competition when those dates are announced.

Contestants will compete weekly for a cash prize, and the ability to stay in the contest for the Grand Prize.
The weekly cash prize will be furnished by patrons paying a $1 cover to the "Kitty Box". The Kitty Box Weekly Prize.
-We will be awarding that prize as follows.
Each week, after each performers performance, Customers will vote (via applause) to rate performers performances between a 1-10. 10’s will compete at the end of the night in a group “dragged out” performance to choose a winner of the weekly kitty box.
If the crowd cannot chose a winner, it will default to the hosts, club,dj, to decide.
In the event of a tie, we split the Kitty Box. If a winner can’t be decided by the crowd we will be forced to go to the highest number of votes, and award the person.
*If you happen to be voted off that week, but scored a 10 with your performance, you are still eligible to perform in the Dragged Out performance and a chance to win the Kitty Box
Each week, one/or two contestants will be eliminated based on audience voting.
Patrons will pay a $1 cover to attend. The $1 cover gets you 1 voting ticket.
Additional voting tickets are received by purchasing drinks.
Well Cocktails, Beer and Wine will each receive 1 voting ticket.
Premium Cocktails and Drink Sponsor Cocktails will each receive 2 voting tickets.
No one patron can purchase more than 5 drinks at a time during the competition.
After each performance , audience members will use their tickets to vote for the contestant(s) they want to STAY in the competition.
The contestant with the lowest number of votes at the end of voting that night will be eliminated from the competition.
In the event of a tie, the tied contestants will participate in a “Drag Out” where BOTH Performers will Compete at the same time, to the same song. The audience will decide the winner by applause.
On the final night, the Grand Prize winner will be determined by most number of votes and the “Kitty Box” will go to the “Runner Up”

This contest is NOT open to the following:
* Anyone who has competed on RuPaul's Drag Race
* Anyone who is an employee of Revlover
*Any contestant involved in cheating, dishonest conduct, bullying, racial comments or, in short, unsportsmanlike conduct will forfeit their rights to participate in the competition, and its winnings.
Requirements/ Rules.
ANYONE not adhering to these rules will be removed from the competition immediately.
*Contestants are required to apply their own makeup
*Contestants must wear a heeled shoe.
*Contestants must be 21 years of age or older.
*Contestants must be Legal Residents of the United States

*Contestants may not “work another gig” the night of the event.
Performances

*The lineup for the evening is chosen by randomly taking a performers name out of a box and added to the lineup. No requests may be made have a particular time slot. If it is a work issue, please discuss ahead of time.

Each week, after each performers performance;I will use the applause app I have on my phone to see who gets the loudest applause (which is 5 stars)
To be in the running for the weekly prize of the Kitty Box.
The Kitty Box will go to the winner of the Dragged Out Challenge, which is , where each contestant who scored a 5 star on the applause app will lip sync to the same song at the same time.
The winner of the “Dragged Out” Weekly is chosen by crowd applause, and the app.

Contestants will be chosen by placing First or Second in the Dragged Out Weekly Competition. Starting March 6th through April 10th, each week the 1st place winner and the 2nd place winner will be entered into the $5,000 Dragged Out Season 3 Competition.
If the 1st place winner declines the invitation to DOS3, the 2nd place winner, along with the remaining contestant with the most votes that evening will be entered into DOS3.
Weekly During the dates of March 6th Through April 10th, 3rd place contestants will be entered into a lottery and chosen at random on April 10th and entered into DOS3 if they so chose.
The Contest will end with the Finale and announcement of the Winner.

Requirements
*Contestants are required to paint their own face.
*Contestants must be 21 years of age or older.
*Contestants must be Legal Residents of the United States
*Contestants must pre-register via email before auditioning
*Contestants will provide their own Makeup, Costumes, Music
Performances
*Each contestant will perform to a song of their choice.
*Each performer will participate in the weekly “Themed Challenges” that will be announced at the end of each Wednesday Night
*Each performer will perform without the use of back up dancers and other performers, unless allowed by a theme night.
Sponsors have the right to make any change to these rules or the Contest at any time.
