Please do your part to keep the ballpark clean!! Please pick up after yourself and your children. A nice volunteer spent 2.5 hours today picking up trash left laying around the ballpark.

We have received several complaints of vehicles parked in handicap spots that do not have a placard or handicap plate. It is illegal to park in a handicap spot or loading zone without one or the other. The Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office will be patroling the parking lot looking for violation. We ask that everyone please reserve these spots for people who need them.

Parents, Coaches, Players and fans—

PLEASE place all trash in the trashcans!! Dugouts should be cleaned out by each team after each game. Bleachers should be cleared of all trash, drinks, food, etc. This helps our volunteers with a quick nightly shutdown (instead of spending an hour or more picking up everyone’s trash). Thank you for your cooperation in this matter!

As we get ready to start the 2024 Spring season there are a few things we would like to share with each of you. First, thank you for registering your child at Biedenharn Sports Complex. Dixie Youth Baseball of West Monroe Inc./Biedenharn Sports Complex is a non-profit privately owned organization operated by a Board of Directors. Other than the one-time dedicated grant money we received this past year, we receive no tax dollars from our local government bodies. Our support comes from registration fees, sponsorships, donations, advertising sales, and fund raising. No board members receive any compensation from the program. Everyone you see working around the complex are volunteers with the exception of umpires and concession workers. With this being said, we ask that everyone help keep the complex clean by picking up your trash after each game. Please also be advised that no pets are allowed in the complex. We also remind everyone that Biedenharn Sports Complex is a smoke free complex. Smoking is only allowed in the parking lot at least 25 feet from any park entrance.
The restrooms are being remodeled and the new partitions should be in by the 2nd week of the season. (Sorry for the inconvenience of port-a-johns.) When the restrooms re-open we ask that small children be accompanied to the restroom.
We are all here to have a safe place for our children to play and compete. We ask that all adults set a example of sportsmanship and fair play. Any verbal abuse of a Coach, Umpire ,Player, or profane language will not be tolerated. Anyone violating this will be removed from the complex.
With all that said we hope that you and your family have a great season at Biedenharn Sports Complex this year. So come out cheer on your player, team, and yes occasionally the other team also!

We are having a work day at the ballpark this Saturday, March 30, at 8:00 am. It's our hope to have a group from each age group there to work on their respective field. We need to w**deat and spray w**d killer so please bring w**deaters if able. We also hope to repair all gates and any other things that may need addressing.

WMDY is run by volunteers (all of which also have full-time jobs). We need all help possible from parents and anyone else willing to show up! Thank you in advance.

If you’re interested in becoming an umpire for our complex, we will be having an umpire clinic! You must be at least 16 years old. 

Tuesday, March 12th at 6pm & Thursday, March 14th at 6pm in the blue building at Biedenharn.

We have a few extra spots in BOYS 12U age league. Register today on the waitlist and we’ll get you on a team!

MAKEUP tryouts for 10U BOYS will be Friday, March 1 at 6:30pm. Field 4. This is only if you missed the first tryout date.
