The news about the increase of Covid cases in the US has really been getting me down. When will we ever be able to travel internationally again? But this lady is whole lot of happiness, cheer, and joy in one bouquet ❤️💙🧡💛💚

MARCH 2020: Tried to start a small female owned floral design business, and a WORLD PANDEMIC called COVID-19 hits.

APRIL 2020: Became “unemployed” with no paychek, no benefits, and no access to state unemployment. I quickly tried to pivot a floral design business into a local delivery business as a way to have some income.

JUNE 2020: Human rights Black Lives Matter protests and mute/blackout announcement on social media in solidarity.

It’s been a really heavy and a really tumultuous start to a really difficult year. Especially for those of us who finally took the leap to follow our dreams and start a business. 2020 has NOT been the year to start a business. Simply put....I’m just struggling to put food on my table.

We have lost more Americans than the Vietnam, Korean war, and 9/11 attacks combined. Kids have been displaced from their schools. Parents have had to cope with working from home and balance homeschooling. We witnessed the biggest stock market crash ever. We have also witnessed the largest rate of unemployment ever. We learned how important and “essential” those everyday workers truly are. We identified and praised doctors, frontline workers, nurses, and healthcare workers as the true hero’s of this year. We are finally listening and learning about human right injustices and about how much black lives matter. We have been ripped apart, and come together as a country all in a matter of a few short weeks.

If we have learned anything thus far from 2020 it should be this... Not everyone fits into a box or category- everyone has their own struggles that they face that most people know nothing about. Not everyone has the luxury of having escaped the virus, or being able to protest, or use their social media “influence”, or stand on the front lines of anything we have faced in 2020. There are too many movements to list that also need attention, school shootings, global warming, . But in the end....what we need to do is support each other, love each other, and VOTE. (And please support small businesses, we are hurting.)

For A from A. 💕 I miss traveling, I miss laughing with friends, I miss hugs, but the thing we all miss the most is EACH OTHER. It’s amazing how pre-Covid, this simple thing we took for granted. Now that we are moving to a new normal, it’s important to continue to find ways to show the ones you love, how important they are to you. 💗 @ West Orange, New Jersey

My favorite day of this entire quarantine was doing a workshop with the most beautiful soul ! She is so lovely and inspiring. I wished I lived closer to do one with her in person and make her my new BFF! 💕 And these flowers provided by were 🔥👌🏻
