Needless to say, film production equipment is expensive. Based on the type of the video you want to produce, you may need a relatively extensive list of equipment, which includes microphones, cameras, grips, lighting, and more. Also, the studio purchase amount or rent will also be part of this cost.

How much should I pay for video production?

With production rates ranging from about $1,000 to $10,000 per finished minute, you can expect to pay somewhere between there for your 1-minute video. A good rule of thumb is to budget about $3,000 for a 1-minute video. Keep in mind that the 1-minute video cost will dramatically increase for complex videos.

A 2 to 3-minute professionally produced corporate video typically costs anywhere from $2,000 to $7,000.
