Así lo dijo Akira Osawa Pivovarov, el estudiante de Medicina de la Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR) que obtuvo la nota más sobresaliente del país —y entre las mejores del mundo— en una de las pruebas de comprobación médica de mayor prestigio mundial: el International Foundations of Medicine (IFOM).

El IFOM es una prueba médica de alta rigurosidad académica, la cual es aplicada por el National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) en cuatro continentes: Asia, América, Oceanía y Europa.

Este examen es únicamente aprobado por las y los estudiantes de mayor excelencia que demuestran, de manera contundente, que poseen el conocimiento médico y científico necesario para apoyar en la atención directa de las y los pacientes. En esta ocasión, el joven costarricense lo confirmó de manera ejemplar.
