A full service bar and restaurant. Our kitchen is a scratch kitchen, making approx 95% of the food served by hand. We do not use microwaves.
Established in 1978, the West Reading Tavern has been owned and operated by the same family for over 35 continuous years. In April of 2011, the original owner partnered with sons, both having a background in hospitality, to form a partnership that has introduced some fresh thinking and new ideas. The new partnership has contributed to a fantastic, ever-changing menu and an array of new fun-filled events that are sure to please for many years to come.

Join us for the West Reading Pumpkin Palooza. Businesses up and down Penn Avenue in West Reading will be decorating, carving, painting pumpkins for the West Reading Pumpkin Palooza. Bring the family down to see the displays and watch the artists work at creating their designs for the contest. Pumpkins will be completed by 4pm and then judging will begin at 4:30pm. Cash prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place sponsored by The LOVE Team West Reading. This will be a great event for the whole family.
