How is your August going? It's always such a busy month, right?
Independence Day was a highlight for Dr. Josh last month as he celebrated with friends and family in Richfield. π
Dr Josh did a Mormon Trek across the Wyoming plains in June. Hereβs a picture of him as a βPaβ and his wife Amanda as a "Ma". These were great kids who pulled the handcart magnificently.
There were plenty of blisters, bruises, and sleepless nights!
It was such a memorable experience honoring our pioneers and coming together on this meaningful journey! π
One day, Aliciaβs hearing was normal. The next, it was changed forever. π
She explains, βIt was immediately after a car accident and I was told it would probably come back, but it didnβt. I thought I was doing something wrong or being dramatic. I didnβt want to be seen as a victim.β
Recalling her first impressions of Utah Ear Institute, Alicia says, βEveryone was so nice and friendly. I was treated like a friend and not a patient. Luke was very nice and friendly.β
Aliciaβs hearing was comprehensively tested and she was fitted with hearing aids. The result?
βI can hear my kids talking to me and not have to say βWhat?β every other sentence,β says Alicia. βIt is life changing to hear things clearly, especially when your kids are wanting to talk to you but would get annoyed when I couldnβt understand what they were saying and they would give up talking to me.β
She hopes others will pursue hearing care at Utah Ear Institute. βYou wonβt regret going and getting everything checked out,β Alicia says, rating them a 10/10.
At the end of this month we bid farewell to a beloved member of our Utah Ear Institute family, Dr. Rachael Gehmlich. π
As she embarks on her next chapter, we want to take a moment to celebrate her incredible contributions to our community.
Dr. Gehmlich has been a pillar of dedication and care, always going above and beyond for her patients. Her unwavering commitment and compassionate approach have not only improved countless lives but have also inspired all of us who have had the pleasure of working alongside her.
Thank you, Dr. Gehmlich, for everything. πΌ
The 24th of July parade in Bountiful is tomorrow! π
The parade is a crowd please favorite. Dr. Luekenga and his family had the privilege in pulling a hand cart one year in helping commemorate the bravery of those Days of 47' Pioneers!
Will we see you there? π
Today is Dr. Rachael Gehmlich's birthday! π
Here's to another year of amazing memories, fantastic adventures, and endless happiness. If you see her this month, please wish her a wonderful day! π
