Iowa Equity Exchange is a qualified intermediary service for Section 1031 tax-deferred exchanges.
Section 1031 exchanges allow investors, land owners, and business owners to sell property and assets without recognizing the gain for tax purposes when purchasing qualifying replacement property or assets.

Raising taxes on property exchanges would kills jobs, raise rents, deepen debts Since 1921, U.S. tax law has held that exchanging one property for a similar property should not be taxed.
Two and a half years between posts. I suppose that's now how it's supposed to work, right? We are still helping people defer their taxes and put their own money to work for themselves. Please let us know if we can ever answer a question or help in any way.
