Just some highlights from September 2023- February 2024 . Field Trips, Option Classes and class parties.

Help us celebrate one of our very own our 12th Grader Arianna Wilson as she represented New Horizon Academy very well. She has shown a tremendous performance this school term. She received 2 awards tonight at the Governor General House for the National Youth Award. She was also accepted into the Doctors Hospital Bridge to the Future Nursing Cadet program as she takes up Medical Science at NHA and lastly she had the highest passing grades in the National Exams at our institution. We are proud to stand with her and salute her parents who always work side to side with her especially her mom .

Today our Medical Science Students had a tour at the Bahamas Medical & Surgical Supplies Ltd. We introduce our students to Option Classes as early as grade 7. Preparing them for their career path early.

Future Nurses, Doctors, Barber's, Beauticians, Nail Technicians. Way to go students!! entrepreneurs # future leaders

Today our Medical Science students had a trip to the Prescription Parlour Pharmacy. Many of our students are also a part of the Nursing Cadet with Doctors Hospital.

As New Horizon Academy celebrates 10 years next month of God's Grace,and mercy we are making some changes in uniform and add more to the building and upgrade. I am giving God all the Praise many wanted to see me fail and wanted to see this visión God gave me crumble. N. H. A is a Ministry God isn't finish with me yet. I will like to thank all the Parent's, potential parents , partners, Pastors such as Ann Higgins and Apostle Henry Higgins , Pastor Dwan Butler Clarke , Yvette Michelle Johnson, Elder Christine Evans who have been the ones by my side regardless. Thanks to all my staff as well. Please take note of the new uniform for our 2023'- 2024 school year boys uniform will match up with the girls attire. Elementary Students Field Trip at the Forest National Park.

Our school Dance Ministry was invited to Minister at the Red Cross Fair this coming Sunday. . Looking forward to touching lives in Dance Movement and being a part of raising funds for this event.

Today our Senior Students had to create their personal Resumes for a job interview by various Panel Guest . We were also bless to have DasQuay aka Bubbler be a part as well. Students were told at the end of the session if they were hired, what mistakes they made and what they need to improve on. Special thanks to all the Parent's who ensured their children got this amazing experience . We also had panel Guest from the Government Department who offered summer Jobs this year for some of our students.

Commonwealth Day Celebration!!!!!

Today the staff and student's of N. H.A celebrated a woman worthy of Praise. She was a mother, Grammy and mentor to us all . Mrs. Florence Johnson you will be missed the greatest chef ever. We ask that everyone continue to keep her in prayer for total healing for we believe that we have a God who still performs miracles.
