Form and technique are EVERYTHING when it comes to maximizing your strength training benefits and preventing injury. Pair this tip with your instructor’s cues the next time you’re in class to capitalize on muscle-building wins (safely AND effectively).

Nancy is our power player! She loves a tough class and motivates instructors to push a bit harder to make every workout one to remember.
Heidi loves some complicated choreography and moves that match the music. Lucky for her Jazzercise is always coming up with new stuff so we never get bored.

Sarah was the first to break the 400 classes in one year. She never does anything less than 100%. Stand next to her in class, it will be the best class you ever had!
Joyce radiates joy and lets you know when she is having a good time, which is almost all the time. She brings the energy to every class.

Lori hasn't stopped coming to class despite years of knee aggravation. This year she braved a knee replacement and was back in the studio within weeks of surgery. She is getting her groove back every day and is such an inspiration.
Laura, our "google" on the dance floor. Makes every class more fun with her pop culture knowledge and Taylor Swift sing-alongs. Wondering what Jennifer Aniston is putting in her coffee? Who Natalie Portman is flirting with? Or what Taylor is saying? Just ask Laura, she knows.

Today I am making these protein packed frozen yogurt treats! If you like Reese’s peanut butter cups, you will love this healthy alternative!
I use plain Chobani greek yogurt and organic creamy Trader Joe peanut butter. Equal parts, yogurt, and peanut butter, pop them the neutral bullet until creamy. You can also stir by hand. It just takes a little longer.
Scoop large spoonfuls evenly spaced out on a parchment lined, baking sheet insert a popsicle stick if you have any hand (not necessary, but make them easier to eat) and freeze them for a few hours.
Once they’re nice and frozen, you can start making your melted chocolate. I use a double boiler. It’s just as easy to put a heat safe bowl on top of a sauce pan with simmering water inside. Stir the chocolate constantly dip, refreeze and enjoy!!!!

To all the busy moms out there, we know life is crazy, especially now that school is out. Take some out for you and join us in our nice cool studio.
Can't find anything to do with the kids, heck, bring them with. If they can stick to it for 45-60 minutes then get them burning off some calories with you.

Persistance & determination
In March we made the decision to shut our doors to keep everyone safe. We immediately started offering virtual classes. For 4 long months our community kept waking up each day and making the most of things, keeping one thing normal in all the COVID chaos: JAZZERCISE. Now we are back! The studio is open again, the virtual classes continue, the community is stronger than ever. We dance because we love it, we workout because we know it is good for us, we do it together because together we can do anything.
