His wedding cakes have been voted “Best of New England” by brides in The Knot magazine for 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. Most brides commented not only on the great designs and amazing flavor of the cakes but also on the reasonable price. Gerardo’s European bakery was the brainchild of the president of Gerardo’s Italian Bakery and his Executive Pastry Chef, Long Rocheford. The shop’s intimate environment and superior product provide a favorite in the Borough and surrounding towns community, with a mini pastry given with each coffee purchase to signify the pairing of coffee and European pastry.
