Glycation is defined as the non-enzymatic cross-linking or binding of sugar molecules to proteins such as collagen and elastin fibres, but also to lipids and nucleic acids. These AGES molecules bind to receptors on surface membranes of cells (RAGEs) and initiate a cellular response that results in proteins, fats and dna strands becoming damaged. Collagen and elastin are rendered inflexible and rigid.
This process is accelerated in all body tissues when sugar levels are elevated and in the skin, as already mentioned, is further exacerbated by ultraviolet light exposure.

Here are some tips to prevent glycation:
- dramatically modify sugar intake

A: Dermaplaning is a skin treatment where a small blade is carefully used to exfoliate the skin, and remove “peach fuzz”, making the skin look and feel softer, and allowing products to better pe*****te the skin.

Q: Will my “peach fuzz” grow back darker and thicker?
A: No! Peach fuzz will grow back the same color and texture that it grew before!

Q: How often should I get it?
A: We recommend every 3-4 weeks, with one Dermaplane session you are removing about 2-3 weeks worth of dead skin!

Q: Is there any downtime?
