Learn To Spray Tan
I now offer a private, hands on, 2 day spray tan training course. This course includes everything you will need to start spray tanning right away.
Our course includes: 3 Solution Bottles, 1 Spray Tan Machine and Gun, 1 Tanning Tent, 1 Over Spray Extraction Unit, One Tanning Matt, Barrier Cream

Day 1: We will go over the different pieces of equipment, equipment set up and take down. What each product is and why we use it. We will go over different solution types, benefits of solution and color theory. We will go over prep and post care instructions for your clients and create your care cards together as well. These can be shipped directly to your home*. We will go over the spray tanning positions and after you will receive a spray tan to better understand the process. (Day 1 will be at my salon. Average time is 3 hours. This time will vary student to student)

Day 2: We will review and practice equipment set up. I will help you adjust your space so that you can have a nice flow while you work. We will review solution types, spray tan positions, and practice using the spray gun. After that it is time to set up for your first model. It is best to have at minimum 3 models for your training. The more models the better. For each model I will walk you through welcoming them in, the questions you will need to ask prior to their spray, explaining to them how to set up, getting them started, and actually spraying them as well as the whole after care process. At the end of the training you should feel confident enough to spray on your own. (Day 2 is preferably at your salon space. Minimum time is 3 hours. It is ideal to have 5+ models.)

#1 quote + question: "I wash my face 2x sometimes 3x a day but still break out. Do I need to wash my face more?"

A: The short answer is a not-so-obvious NO. I personally do not wash my face more than 2x a day and most days only wash (using soap) once.

I recommend only washing with soap once a day in the drier months with soap being at night. Most mornings you can get away with a cool water rinse and then follow the rest of your skincare routine.

A large cause of people's breakouts comes from an unbalanced skin barrier. Using the wrong products like soapy face wipes, 2 in 1 cleansers, artificially scented skincare, alcohol heavy products, too many exfoliators, and so forth can damage the natural pH.

By limiting your morning routine to a cool water rinse, serum (targeted to your skincare concern), eye cream and moisturizer(+spf)(targeted to your skincare concern) you are helping your skin repair itself.

For the first three weeks, give your skin time to adjust.
