Students may enroll in classes on a monthly basis or we offer the convenience of packages in 4, 6 ,8 week increments tailored to meet your scheduling and budgeting needs. We are so excited to offer another fabulous year

of our Summer studio classes & extended day Art Camps.
Camp days are M, W, F 9:30-1:30 pm. The day begins in indoors in our beautiful, air conditioned studio with 2 hours of individual instruction in drawing and painting. Followed by an outdoor patio lunch and new & inventive mixed media projects. Mixed media projects follow weekly themes that umbrella and focus on different mediums, genres, applications, styles, interpretations and artists.
All ages 7-16 welcomed and projects are geared towards individual levels.
A comfortable and supportive environment for all ages filled with fun and creativity!

In addition to our weekly Art camp, we will also continue to offer our on-going weekly classes for Kids, Teens & Adults!

Looking for a fun, flexible, supportive and creative path to fill the Summer days with creativity? Whether you are brand new to painting or working on your high school/college portfolio, our studio is a inspiring and comfortable space to be and offers guidance and support for all ages and all skill levels!


For Art's Sake Studio ART CAMP offers 9 weeks of extended studio days. MWF 9:30-1:30p: Camp Day Includes 2 hr painting/drawing lesson, outdoor patio lunch and Mixed Media project filled afternoons exploring different mediums, applications, subjects and genres. Each week's mixed media portion explores a different theme, all projects are age and skill appropriate and all ages & skill levels welcomed 6-15y, in group setting/one on one instruction. Flexible Weekly Enrollment - You choose the weeks! All materials provided in studio w/ exception to brush set, solvent & paper towels. Campers are asked to bring a sack lunch each camp day. Snacks, beverages & supplies all available for purchase.

MAKE UP POLICY & REQUIRED SUPPLIES

ART CAMP MAKE UP POLICY
Art Camp offers 9 weeks of enrollment. Enrollment is "weekly" MWF, 9:30-1:30p. Art Camp spaces are very limited and often reserved months in advance. If an illness or need for an absence does come up, missed camp days can be called in with 24 hr advanced notice and will be granted a class day credit in the form of a make up. Camp spaces are limited & make up days are not guaranteed however, we will do our best to reschedule where space allows. Absences may be credited in the form of a regular class if no camp days are available.No shows will result in forfeit for the camp day. No refunds or exceptions to above policy

ON GOING CLASS MAKE UP POLICY: Any & All absences must be called in or emailed, in advance to receive a make up credit. Classes are scheduled and staffed based on continuous enrollment and a no show or late calls will be considered a forfeit of class. No exceptions, refunds nor extension of sessions given for no calls/no shows. Make ups can be scheduled on a day other than students regularly scheduled class by appointment. Thank you for your consideration in advance to make scheduling and staffing flexible and smooth for all.

STUDENT SUPPLIES : CAMPS & CLASSES

ALL Students are required to purchase/bring a Brush Set to class each day/week. ALL in studio supplies are provided within classes/camp ie: canvasses,paints, palettes, mediums, drawing tools, as well as all mixed media supplies.
Brush Cleaning is done AT HOME & is the STUDENTS RESPONSIBILITY.
Solvent is available for purchase at the studio as well as written instructions.

* Brushes NOT CLEANED or MISSING WILL BE REPLACED at the students cost. Along with the brush Set, students are also REQUIRED to bring paper towels to every class, an important part of class as well as clean up. Both Mini & Full Brush Sets are available for purchase. Mini Sets ($59) are available only for campers only enrolled in 1 week of camp. Updated Mask Policy

Since the beginning of March 2020 and the start of the COVID 19 pandemic, we have worked tirelessly to keep the safety and health of our students and staff our utmost priority by implementing all COVID protocol as needed and required to keep everyone safe during their studio time. Creatively, we adapted our teaching methods to accommodate social distancing, sanitizing , flow of studio and have continued with the indoor mask requirements. I am both proud and grateful to say that we have successfully made a smooth and seamless transition through a very challenging time by committing and adapting to our new norm through diligent awareness and keeping up daily with ALL studio safety protocols.

Thanks you to our staff, students and diligent families for your tireless dedication and patience to the above protocols. Collectively, I am grateful to say we have not had any cases of transmission of COVID within the studio to date and the studio has been and will continue to be such a positive environment/outlet at a very much needed time. What a gift.

With vaccines now readily available and California's COVID rate declining, as well as city, county, local and school mask mandates lifting, it is with the most thoughtful consideration to all of these factors that wwe make the following announcement.

As of Monday, March 14th, 2022, For Art Sake Studio will be transitioning from a policy of mask requirement to a policy of mask recommendation. As of March 14th, the studio will be mask optional for students , staff and guests within all classes, camps, and events/parties barring any changes in the process of the pandemic. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and cautiously.

Although the studio will move forward by changing it's indoor mask policy from mandatory to recommended, we ask that students, staff and family's to PLEASE continue to self monitor for symptoms of ANY kind and stay home if ill and if positive, to continue to follow the CDC quarantine guidelines prior to returning to
studio. We will happily make accommodations & reschedule your class(es).

While some us will feel relieved to read this announcement, many will feel concerned about the return to a pre-Covid lifestyle and may choose to continue to wear their masks. Some students, family members &/or staff may be dealing with additional health problems or simply to choose to wear their masks- We support ALL choices and will do our best to accommodate anyone who is feeling uneasy about the transition. In some classes, space barring, we can still create distance &/or pods type accommodations. If needed, please don't hesitate to reach out ot me privately with your concerns. We want our magical little space to continue being and kind, supportive environment and we encourage the same kindness, respect and compassion to all of our For Art's Sake Studio Family.
