It might be difficult to believe that maternal deaths are still quite prevalent in this day and age. But the U.S. is shown to have the highest maternal mortality rate among developed countries. On Friday, May 6th, Health Scholars’ Dr. Pam Martin will be presenting at in San Diego. She will be diving into the impacts of obstetric hemorrhage on maternal mortality and maternal morbidity in the U.S. She will also talk about how NYC Health + Hospitals a strategy to address this by utilizing Health Scholars’ VR application.
