Community Engagement Presentation
Dear Community Members,
As you've likely heard, Monday evening we began a phone survey throughout the district as part of our community engagement program this year. This survey is important in gathering your feedback on many of the projects the community is considering we invest in as we move forward as a district.
Please take the survey in its entirety, as your feedback will help determine our plan for the future of our schools. You will receive phone calls from (331) 214-3178, and to take the survey, you simply need to answer the call and participate until the end (note that your response will not count unless you complete the entire survey).
You are also welcome to call (331) 214-3178 by Saturday, July 13, to participate at your convenience.
In addition to the phone survey, we are hosting four community engagement sessions over the next two weeks where you can provide your opinions to help us determine a plan for the future of our schools.
We hope you will attend at least one of these sessions:
In-Person Engagement Sessions -- J.T. Manning Elementary School, 200 N. Linden St., Westmont
6 pm Thursday, July 11
10 am Saturday, July 13
6 pm Wednesday, July 17
Virtual Engagement Session

Calling All Creative Souls! We're looking for a passionate individual to lead the 5th-grade Self Portrait Project! For 7 years, Roxanne has brilliantly run this initiative, and we are deeply grateful for her dedication. Now, we need someone to carry on her incredible work, with Roxanne providing support. About the Project: In collaboration with Manning School, you'll teach visual storytelling, image creation, and the importance of consent and responsibility in our digital age. You’ll guide students through brainstorming, creative writing, and creating self-portraits, helping them share their stories and fostering empathy. Ready to inspire young minds?
