In retrospect, 2009 might not have been the ideal time to start a business. While many were consumed by panic and recession, we focused on overcoming the advice to avoid going into business with friends and opening a restaurant. From day one, we were determined to prove everyone wrong and committed to making it work.

As friends who fell in love with the OPH food and concept, we were inspired by the deep connections within the community. Our passion for quality food and a naive entrepreneurial spirit drove us to create something unique for our families and neighbors. So, in 2009, with minimal experience but a lot of heart, Ryan and I opened our first OPH location, beginning an incredible journey.
