Torey made an apple pie from scratch at Aux Delices Foods kids' cooking class (and topped it off with love) and was so proud of herself. But the unsuspecting favorites were the chicken cream hand pies and sweet potato cheesecake that she also made 😋. Looking forward to her making me a gourmet meal in my lifetime ❤️

The Goldenberries in this bouquet not only add a pop of color, but taste delicious (sweet and tart) and are filled with nutrients. If you haven't tried them yet, I suggest eating them as a snack or adding them to your salad. They could be found in your grocery store in the berry section. The local farm grown ones (smaller and usually sold still covered in their husks) are even more delicious- super sweet with a hint of pineapple flavor. Can't wait until they are in season at the farmer's market 😋

When your person is too sick to cook, send a bouquet that doesn't require cooking! We use produce that could be eaten raw for making salads and snacks.

And my new favorite ingredient are golden gooseberries. They're a nice variation from cherry tomatoes to use in salads. They have a consistency and taste similar to a cherry tomato, but are also a little tart, like a fruit.
