Our world, through my eyes: it was my pleasure to tune the Steinway Model D at the Palace Theater in Stsmford for the performance of the great Johnny Nash last night.

I love my work and the glimpses I get into amazing places and people. Though traffic was a nightmare and I was late for a family event following my work, the positive vibes and good feels make it all worthwhile.

A great way to help strengthen and help rebuild our economy, our climate and our society is to stop buying inferior new pianos. Not only are they made disposable but also all over the 3rd world, with cheap plastics and almost no hardwood - zero aged wood and spotty, poorly-trained craftsmanship.
At the same time so many amazing real pianos that stood the test of time, bosting some of the best tone qualities, hand carvings and fine detail are available for close to nothing and oftentimes tossed.
As a third generation restorer, I’m baffled to see the contradiction and would like to see more moral clarity.

Just saying stop buying crap and expecting it to last or sound good.

To counter the escalating costs of keeping our business running, we propose a bargaining chip for our clients. By leveraging time, our clients can secure better deals. Our truck maintenance and crew expenses, along with insurance, accounting, and state fees, have increased dramatically. As a result, we have had to raise our prices. Despite this, our skilled technicians are heavily booked, and we recommend scheduling in advance to take advantage of available discounts. This offer applies to tuning and moving services as well, where waiting a few weeks can yield significant savings.

Looking for a not-for-profit organization to collaborate on a limited-time project: providing a spacious venue to exhibit 50-70 pianos, including refurbished Yamaha, Steinway, and Bechstein models, in return for a portion of the profit from their sales. The pianos are stored away and need to be set up for display.
