Phylisha Villanueva, Westchester County’s second poet laureate, describes herself as a jazz poet. In fact, she has been performing with the Jazz & Poetry Choir Collective (J&PCC) since its founding in 2011. The Collective will perform as part of JazzFest White Plains this week, 9/11 in our gallery!
