Do you have a child struggling with behavior or academics?

Difficulties can develop from issues you may never have thought of. Your child may need help strengthening their sensory system, response time, balance, sight, muscle tone, or other issues that you cannot see.

I am in the process of recertifying myself as a screener for HANDLE.org. You may look them up online at that address.

I am looking for 10 children (or adults), to screen at no cost to you. This screening usually costs $150. You will need to meet with me on 2 separate days for an hour each day. Parents/guardians must be present. We can meet online, at your house, (within 15 miles of Whitefield), at my house, or possibly the library if you’d like a public space to meet (again, within 15 miles of Whitefield). You must be willing to be filmed. The video is only seen by you, myself and my supervisor and you may have a copy. You will receive 3-4 activities for you to do at home to improve your child’s/or your weak systems.

A $50 refundable cash or check deposit is necessary prior to the first meeting. The $50 will be refunded after we meet for the second time. If you do not show up for the initial scheduled time, or for the second visit, your deposit will not be refunded.

If you have any questions or would like to participate, please contact:

Sue Rouillard-High [email protected]. Participants will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.

I may have been hacked in FB. I was notified
it was very early this morning on 2/17. If you have received any messages from me, don't open, just delete. I'll stay off FB for a day or two, so if you get anything from me, delete! Darn, does this mean messenger will be useless too?

Today is a GREAT day to bring everyone together and do an activity. If you have snow, go build a snowman and make some snow angels. If you are in a warmer climate, (I'm jealous!) take a walk, go to the playground, take turns on the trampoline. Plant a garden. When was the last time you jumped rope?

While we've shared this before, "And much like a number of Christmas movies, etc., I enjoy seeing it again. Every. Single. Year." That's because it communicates the true spirit of Christmas, which is Love. Kindness. Community. Welcoming. Not hate, pre-judging others, or closing down.

The holiday season is fast approaching and I hope you have all your preparations just about done so you can relax a bit. We are currently on vacation and will getting home just a day or two before Christmas. We have never been at the airport at Christmas time, but we expect it to be hectic. I am happy I will be able to share my grandchildren's excitement at Christmas. I hope that everyone is well, happy and healthy at your house.

Remember that you kiddos will need that physical play time over school break. I'm guessing that they will be receiving video games for gifts which keep them sedentary. Send them outside to work off some of their energy! If their behavior is difficult it's because the excitement of the holidays and vacation from school can be overwhelming! All behaviors are sending a message. Try to decode theirs to calm things down some and make things more enjoyable for all of you. 😁

Sleep with your children, hug each other while you can under the covers, do not be afraid of that addiction.
Children are small only once, then when they grow up they will find their way and their spaces.
Sleep heart against heart, so much so that you feel their breath, because there is nothing more beautiful than this.
Enjoy their childhood and their company, love them as if the world were going to end today because tomorrow they will have grown up and you will think that you lacked time to hug them.❤️

Wishing everyone a relatively calm, healthful and happy Thanksgiving!😃
