Now that fall is here (and I'm finally back in a temperature I can actually deal with), I've had some time to reflect on this crazy past summer I was fortunate enough to have. Got back from being in a friend's wedding Monday night, and had a very special closing bright and early on Tuesday morning!

I've been working with these two for the past year and some change. A year ago, I joined an online knitting group of less than 200 people from around the world. I posted an introduction, and 20 minutes later got a direct message from a woman in the group. She said that her and her wife had been dreaming of moving to Milwaukee from Portland, needed a realtor, and would be in town the next week. So a couple days later we all met up, got coffee, I drove them around the city and showed them some houses, and the rest is history!

Never would I have suspected that joining a slack group would lead me to such incredible, local friends who I would then get to knit with, go to a sheep shearing demonstration at Old World WI with, and help purchase a property.

I'm so thrilled for the two of you. This gorgeous, historic home needs caring people who see the value in maintaining it, and I believe you're the perfect couple for the job! Congratulations!! 🧶
