Fettle and Fig
Custom charcuterie ~ boards, boxes, grazing tables, classes, and more! 🍷🧀
As we approach the one-year mark of opening our business, we wanted to thank all of our customers, friends, family and local business friends that we have worked with over this incredible year!
The beginning of Fettle and Fig was such a whirlwind for us! Give two ambitious women a vision and they will make it happen. In a matter of two weeks from the conception of our business idea - we were licensed, insured, ServSafe Manager certified, signed on with a commercial kitchen and taking orders. How many people can say they started a LEGIT business in two weeks' time? Our business exploded and we loved making each and every board, box, cup and grazer this year.
As our commercial kitchen contract, liability insurance and restaurant license are all up for renewal this month - we have made the difficult decision not to renew. Amy and I have both started new jobs this year as well as pursuing additional degrees related to our full-time careers. Between work, school and our families we found a need to prioritize our time.
The charcuterie business is a strange business and while we thoroughly loved every minute, we struggled with charging what we needed to make a profit. Amy and I pride ourselves on doing everything by the book, creating our products in a commercial kitchen and consistently charging less than the competition to allow our product to be accessible to more people.
While we are no longer taking orders, we hope to post some tips and tricks videos in the future to help you all create the beautiful boards for yourself at home! We may even offer some virtual classes to allow our friends, family and followers all over the country to learn something new! STAY TUNED!
We are wishing you all health, happiness and prosperity in the new year!
Happy Holidays!

Happy rainy 4th!!! We are celebrating with a pot luck with friends, and a fun hot dog bar for the kids (and adults)! If you created something cheesey 🧀 show it off in the comments ⬇️ 🇺🇸
Had the best time with Claudine and her friends at an in home workshop! Such a fun group of women!! We are off for the next few months but will book out again in the Fall 🧀🍇❤️
The perfect bite!!! Are you team grainy mustard, zesty pickle, wine soaked salami, topped with Smith’s Tomato Basil Gouda or are you team fig preserve, dry cured Proscuitto, Danish Brie, dried apricot, with a drizzle of honey (because honey makes everything better)? 🍯 🧀 🍇
Hello! We have decided to take a break for the summer. Finding a balance between our full time jobs, our Fettle and Fig Business and our families has been tough these last few months, so we have decided to press pause and spend more time with our families this summer. We have a public class scheduled for next week and a private class and then we will be pressing pause on taking orders and scheduling classes. We will update you all in the Fall :) If you are need of charcuterie we can point you in the direction of an amazing local business to help you out. We love you all and we will be sure to update you in September :)
