Sorry to inform Cal High will not be hosting a CondorMUN Conference in the 2015-2016 year. But we will have a great year of participating in local Conferences, and UC Berkeley's BMUN in March.

Hello Everyone!
Recently the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors have approved the allocation of 13.3 million dollars for a new library in South Whittier. In response to this news, there will be a community meeting on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 6:30 PM at Adventure Park.

The Cal Hi Model United Nations Club has been asked to attend the meeting and be representatives for the teens in our community, however we want to spread the word to our friends and family and others to also attend this meeting!! This meeting is an opportunity for everyone to voice their opinions on the new library; from what type of services they would like the library to offer all members of the community. It would be great if you guys would come and show your support and spread the word and get others to come and participate!!

2 Awards at Berkeley last weekend! Now to raise more money to pay for it. Shakey's night tonight (Washington blvd), Thursday, from 5-9pm. I'll be there from 5-5:45 with extra flyers. I'll leave them with other students, at a table with flags, in case you want to stop by to support us. Come on over, grab a flyer and enjoy the pizza and mojos. 25% goes to our hard-working MUN team.

2 announcements for Cal High Model U.N. Alumni:
1. We have 10 movie tickets left to sell for our fundraiser. It's $8 each for the Whittier Village, good any show, any time, even 3D movies. Let us know if you want any. Alumni or your families?
2. We'll be in Berkeley next weekend (Thurs - Sun). Any alumni interested in hanging out with delegates or the Reaganator, please email or text me (Reagan). I'll be happy to meet you sometime for coffee or a meal during or after committee. Otherwise I'll be grading FRQ's (please give me something more exciting to do).

Congratulations to our President this year, Mr. Tristan "T-Rev" Navarro, for winning his first committee award today at the Mission Viejo Conference, to add to his previous collection of research awards! He was in the Advanced Historic Security Council dealing with the Russian invasion of Afghanistan. He and his partner, Sergio Macedo, kicked butt as the Republica de Chile. Way to go Condors!
