The magic ✨ of essential oils 🌸💧 Yesterday my 16-month-old slipped in the shower and hit her head hard on the tile ledge. Instant goose egg! Within 10 minutes, I pulled out my helichrysum touch roller, so convenient that I didn't have to find my carrier oil and worry about mixing up a dilution or blend. Just grab my roller and apply! Within 15 minutes the swelling had reduced significantly (slide 2), then after another 20 minutes, still more improvement (slide 3). This morning, less than 24 hours later, the swelling is almost completely undetectable and I'm amazed how minor the bruising is with how bad of a bump it was! (Slide 4).

Helichrysum is one of my favorite oils to have on hand with kiddos! It's the main oil in my aka "Bumps, Bruises & Bloody Noses" and is nicknamed "liquid stitches" for it's ability to slow or stop bleeding. I travel with this at all times.

Introduction time! Like I mentioned in my last post, we've added 2 more kids since I created this account. Needless to say it's time for an update! So here's 10 things about me...

1. Married 15 years to my elementary school sweetheart
2. 5 kiddos, age 1-11
3. In our 6th official year of homeschool but both hubby and I were also homeschooled all 12 years of schooling!
4. I have a sugar addiction that is one of my top goals to work on in 2024. Diet is definitely the hardest part of my holistic lifestyle journey.
5. My dream from childhood was to be a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom. I'm living my dream ❤️
6. After 8 years, I recently retired from being a La Leche League Leader, helping women breastfeed their babies. I still have a passion for this and hope to someday get some certifications to continue helping women.
7. I've had 1 hospital birth, 1 unexpected home births and 3 planned home water births. Feel free to ask me any and all things birth! (My last two birth videos have gone viral from my midwife's account)
8. I'm an extreme extrovert married to an extreme introvert.
9. I have never lived outside of Southern California, and really don't have a real desire to leave except for the craziness of the cost of living 😵‍💫
10. I love sharing what I've learned from various resources about health and holistic wellness with others, regardless if I'm making any commissions on a product or not.
