🏠 Market Update: Existing Home Inventories on the Rise 📈

According to the National Association of Realtors® (NAR), existing home inventory increased in April. However, this didn’t lead to a surge in sales. Here are key points from the article that sellers should know:

1. Inventory of existing homes for sale increased by 9% from March and 16.3% year-over-year.

2. There’s currently a 3.5-month supply of homes, below the ideal six-month supply for a balanced market.

3. Higher-priced homes saw a significant increase in inventory and sales.

4. Properties stayed on the market for 26 days on average in April.

5. Median existing home price rose to $407,600, up by 5.7%.
