Here's a great set of some of Dylan's oldies that ring of what the peace movement first brought to our doorstep, before it went rogue.

We're entering a new phase. A reactivation of the Querent.
Full moon in Sagittarius tomorrow! I'll be at Diane March's 'Jeweled Universe' listening to musical friends playing Dylan covers Thursday evening. One of my favorites of Bob's is, 'Lay Down Your Weary Tune, Lay down." I love the way every verse uses an instrument to nature metaphor. For instance; "The ocean wild like an organ played. Its seaweed wove in strands. The crashing waves like cymbals clashed...against the rocks and sands." Or, "A blast of leaves fell from the trees and clung to a new love's breast. The branches bare, like a banjo moaned...to the winds that listened the best." Sky, trumpets, bugles, rain. He never mentions the MOON though.
After attending a talk on the artist, Millard Sheets, at the Laguna Art Museum by Jean Stern, past executive director of the Irvine Museum, I found this news series, Spectrum News 1 with Alison Martino, featuring his many mosaic murals on buildings in and around Southern California. What a far-reaching legacy this 20th century California plein air (and designer extraordinaire) artist has given us. Such visual treasures from our past and continuing into the future.

Thank you, my Face Book friends for all the birthday wishes. I wish them double blessed back super quick to you all. Many Christmas and holiday blessings for peace, change and the ability to accept the unknown with a graceful spirit. We're working on it, eh? And Bart says "Hey, more flowers, if you please?!"
If you have the time, check out this YT series, the 'Fall of Civilizations'. Amazingly informative and well done. About our ancient past. Very interesting to know where we've come from in the midst of repetitions which ultimately come about. With a change of costumes, set decorations, land formation and architectural designs, of course.
