We had an amazing crew for Camp Noah last week! ☀️ A huge shout out to all of our incredible counselors for creating an unforgettable camp experience for our campers. And a special thank you to Park Place Christian Church for graciously hosting us. We couldn’t have done it without you!

We can't wait to kick off Camp Noah NEXT WEEK! Camp Noah specifically caters to kids with intellectual and developmental disabilities to ensure they get a summer camp experience like their peers. Our Camp Noah team is incredible and they make sure every child gets to participate in the activities. Be on the lookout for pictures and videos from camp!

Did you know we serve over 30 individuals with Down syndrome throughout the year? The Wichita Falls Buddy Walk plays a vital role in raising awareness and fostering inclusion. We're honored to be part of this supportive community!

•ALL ABOUT THE ARC• today’s feature is the child care program!

The Arc’s child care program is for children with AND without disabilities. During the school year, child care is open Monday through Friday from 3pm to 5:30pm. During summer and school holidays, child care is open from 7:30AM to 5:30PM. During the summer, child care takes field trips, has special guest visits, participates in games, arts and crafts, themed parties and outside play!

This is the -only- child care program in Wichita County tailored specifically for children with disabilities. There is almost always a waitlist because it is so needed. Most all of Buddy Walk funds typically go to support this program, and we can’t think of a much better use!

One of our regular stops for HERO House outings is the library! 📚 Our members love getting to pick out books and especially love the quiet environment 🤫😄

There are still volunteer spots available for iCan Bike Camp in just under two weeks! 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️🚴

We are so grateful for the volunteers from United Regional Health Care System who came out to play games with our members, organize, and even do some tech repair for our Teen Bridge program!

Our Social program has been BUSY! If you’re looking for a group of friends for yourself or someone with IDD that you love, be sure to give us a call to learn about all of the fun social outings we have going on! Everyone included in our social program is loved and accepted for who they are, so don’t let a fear of being excluded stop you from joining! 🤍
