Local Cultural Learning Opportunity:
Nov. is Native American Heritage Month! Stop by the local Mid-America All- Indian Museum to learn more about Native American contributions to Wichita & Kansas. This museum is only 2 miles or 6 minutes away from campus. Wed. 11/18 M.E. will host a beaded loom art demonstration with Michelle Conine, Educational Coordinator. Also, we will have beaded kits available in the M.E. Office.

Local Cultural Learning Opportunities: ⠀
Students I invite you to go visit and check out The Kansas African-American Museum, located just 3 miles or 10 minutes away from campus. This is an opportunity to see visually the contributions of African-Americans in Kansas. This Saturday 11/14 is the Museum’s 2020 Trailblazers Hall of Fame. You can tune in to watch this virtual event—on CW, KSCW TV 33 (Cox Cable channel 5) for the premiere and watch again on KWCH TV 12 (check local listings) after the news at 10:35 pm.
