πWe are thrilled to share that we, together with Mulvane Community Foundation, Villa Maria Inc., and Mulvane Senior Center, are one of 343 grantees selected to receive a 2024 AARP Community Challenge grant from AARP Livable Communities and AARP Kansas!
We are incredibly proud that AARP selected us for this investment to make Mulvane more livable for residents of all ages. Through this grant, older adults will conduct walk audits to identify potential locations for sidewalk and crosswalk improvements. The foundation will also hold follow-up meetings to discuss ways to incorporate findings. (Capacity-Building Microgrant).

Opportunities for community collaboration are so rewarding.
Our citizens and under-served populations need affordable, reliable public transportation for quality of life.
This brings them one step closer to more freedom and control in their own lives.
We're happy to say, "It's done!"
This is a grant application for a para-transit service similar to the Haysville Hustle/ Derby Dash through Wichita Area Metropolitan Para-Transit Organization (WAMPO).
We've enjoyed working with Mulvane Community Foundation , Mulvane Senior Citizen Center, and City of Mulvane, Kansas over the last few months!
We will know in June if we will get a van and driver! π

A: This is a Dinner Theatre Murder Mystery by Lesley Gunn. A Cast of Character try to solve a Mystery! The Mulvane Recreation Foundation and the Mulvane WildActs are coming together to bring this to all of you!
Q: Do you need to have any acting or theater experience to audition?
A: No, you do not! This is a good chance for someone who is looking for something new to try out or if it is someone who has done theater and would like to be involved in something again or if a person love theater. Come join us we would love you have you!
Q: How does one sign up for this show?
A; You can just show up to the MRC this week September 14th and 15th from 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. at the Mulvane Recreation Center. We will have signs directing you to where we will hold Auditions and will be glad to talk to you about what you can do to help.

Mulvane Recreation Foundation, the charitable arm of Mulvane Recreation Commission, is seeking volunteer leaders to join its dynamic board of directors.
Board members are actively involved in organizational governance, and are expected to attend monthly board meetings, participate in at least one board committee, attend a portion of community events, and manage at least three donor or community partner relationships.
The board needs a variety of skills, with a strong emphasis on board candidates with networking, human resource, legal, and media expertise, as well as those connected to the local community and civic organizations.
