As our Policy Leadership & Advocacy Academy is coming to an end, and we would like to invite the community to the celebration! Word to Life- Cypher Sessions works with middle school and high school students to use the power of words to be a catalyst for positive change and tackle mental health challenges using spoken word poetry and music as vehicles of expression.

We are thrilled to share that Destination Innovation has been selected as a recipient of a grant from the Kaiser Permanente Center for Gun Violence Research and Education!
We aim to empower communities to move toward healing by expanding restorative justice models in interpersonal and institutional spaces, and to use community-based participatory research to investigate systemic health inequities that impact two neighborhoods that are suffering from high rates of gun violence.
