Vacation alert! Y’all have two more days to get your Ty’s fix before we close down for a much needed and well deserved vacation. We’ll be closed from Thursday, July 4th until Tuesday, July 23rd. We’ll be back at it on Wednesday, July 24.

Every spring, the senior class from Berean Academy - Elbing KS comes down to Wichita for their senior trip. Every year it always includes a stop to eat at Ty’s. I look forward to this day every year- y’all I’m not kidding, these kids are always the best behaved, well mannered kids I have the pleasure of waiting on. Congratulations Seniors, thanks for coming to see us!

Good morning everyone- I’ll start off with the good news. We found the problem and the part we need to fix the problem. Now for the bad news- the part won’t be delivered until today. We will unfortunately have to close again today (February 22nd) so we can install it. Ready for more good news? We should be ready to rock and roll tomorrow! Hey guys- not the news we wanted to share but we’re having equipment issues and won’t be able to open today, February 21st. We’re hoping to be open tomorrow February 22nd. I’ll keep you guys updated. Thanks for understanding!

Tomorrow is the last day you’ll be able to grab some Ty’s before we settle down for a much deserved break between Christmas and New Year’s. We’ll be open our regular hours on Saturday, December 23rd (11:00am- 2:30pm) and we’ll be back at it on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024.

I want to take a moment and thank my amazing employees who have been with me these last couple of years. Matt, Josh, Amber, Jacona, and Angie- you guys mean more to me than you’ll ever know. We have an amazing thing going on and I’m so incredibly grateful for each of you. You all work so hard and make doing this so worthwhile. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

To my customers- THANK YOU! Thank you for continuing to support me and my little piece of Wichita history. We all work hard to provide an awesome and fun dining experience for each and every one of you. Your support over this last year in particular has been a godsend to me. I have had so much loss this last year between my mom and my brother, you guys have rallied around me, reminded me that it’s okay to take days off to grieve, and more importantly reminded me that you were there when I was able to open back up. I can’t thank you all enough for your continued patronage and support. A lot of you over the years have become much more than customers, you’ve become friends and family, and you hold such a special place in my heart. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and I look forward to serving you next year and in the years to come. ❤️

Nestor was a staple at Ty’s, he’d be here 3 times a week if he was in town. Nestor always treated everyone he talked to with the upmost respect, no matter who they were. He didn’t know a stranger (even if he had to ask me sometimes who he was talking to after they’d left 😂), the world has truly lost a great man. Rest In Peace Nestor, this burger is for you. ❤️
