Well, after 13 years and a lot of great memories, Blendrich Nutrition is off the air. It's a time of mixed emotions, most of them positive, as I turn another corner in my business life. I've made some wonderful friends, been amazed at the support through all the years, and most proud that, with a lot of help from you (and you know who you are), we've donated most of the profits from this endeavor to charities supporting kids' and children's programs.

This summer I'm headed to Italy for a cruise and some sightseeing. I'd like to take the Jeep to Kanab, Utah and poke around. A few of us are biking and backpacking La Grind, Unbound, RAGBRAI, and the Red Feather Ramble. Erich Schaefer and I are planning some awesome hikes and backpacking trips, too. I don't think I'll be bored going forward.

The webpage and online store are closed. I'm leaving the page up for a bit, so that folks get notified and hopefully understand.

It's been an honor and privilege to be the Blendrich Guy. See you all out there on the road.

Hello past PedalFest participants-

I am reaching out to you in regards to Heartspring’s newest event, CAREfest. You may have heard things are a little different this year for PedalFest being as it’s a part of the larger event, CAREfest. However, I am here to reassure you that PedalFest is not going anywhere and will not lose its impact in our community. We absolutely love our riders and we love this event.

PedalFest will kick off Saturday, August 28 starting at 6:45 a.m. There will be a 100K road, 50K road, 25K road, the 5K family ride, and gravel options. Throughout the two-day fundraising festival, we will have numerous family activities, music, food trucks, and more to participate in. Included in your PedalFest registration are general admission wristbands to join the fun on Saturday.

If you have not signed up yet, we would love to have you start a team, purchase a shirt, donate, or participate in the event. Our event t-shirts are better than ever and they are $15 and must be ordered prior to August 1.

Our tagline for the event is “You fit in here.” We truly believe everyone will have a place at this very special event. We are excited and look forward to bringing together the Wichita community to celebrate and have fun, but most of all, to lift up Heartspring’s mission.

Blendrich Nutrition will be closed for annual maintenance and production upgrades from Friday, August 7 to Saturday, August 15. No orders will be processed or shipped/delivered during this time, and our online store will be paused. If you wish to place an order prior to August 7, please allow sufficient time for your order to be processed, packaged, and shipped/delivered. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Someone has been using our business name to fraudulently charge (obviously) stolen credit card numbers in the amount of $30.28. These charges are showing up on bank statements as www.blendrich.com or www.blendrichks. NEITHER OF THESE IS OUR IDENTIFIER for bank statements (I won't tell you the correct identifier so the crooks can make adjustments).

If you have a credit card charge, either pending or settled, from Blendrich and you didn't make an online order, contact your bank or credit union immediately and report your card as stolen.

Your bank or credit union may also advise you file a police report. Other personal information may have been stolen as well, so take necessary steps to protect your information.

We have reconciled all orders with shipments to our great customers. We have not received any monies from any bank or credit union, and our third-party payment company has no unaccounted funds. We don't have your money and we didn't charge your card. We're as baffled, angry, and frustrated as you must be. If there is any way we can help, please call us at (316) 641-2349. Thank you.

Congrats to Wendy Culp, Chris Culp, and Toby Taylor for dragging my arse around some of the La Grind Course this past weekend. They did great, all of them. I was off the back, as usual....
