Church of the Blessed Sacrament's Oktoberfest Run for the Poor 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run Church of the Blessed Sacrament's Oktoberfest Run for the Poor 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run is on Saturday October 1, 2022. It includes the following events: 5K Run/Walk, 1 Mile Fun Run, Stein Holding 5K Division, and Stroller 5K Division.

The race is a few months away and it is time to register! I have included a picture of the tech shirts this year. As you know by now supply and demand is up in the air! Adults will get red and kids will get white tech shirts.
On a sad note, Dick Borchard the leader of the German Band passed away earlier this year. His bandmate did say that Dick was able to live life to the fullest up until the day he died. I have to say, Dick was so much fun and always looked forward to his beer, brat, shirt and playing for you all. We hope that the band will play this year to keep the tradition going in memory of Dick.

Oktoberfest Run for the Poor is looking for a new logo and wants your help! Do you have an idea for a fantastic new logo? A logo that will encapsulate the fun, excitement, run, and Oktoberfest of this wonderful event? Let the creativity flow and help us come up with our new logo!

Entries accepted between March 21 through April 18. The winner will be announced May 1, with the opening on early bird registration for the Run for the Poor Race!

The winning entry will receive free entry to the race, acknowledgment as logo artist, and local business gift cards!

CONTEST DETAILS:
All entries have to be Oktoberfest themed. Entries must be submitted in digital formats such as jpeg, or png, which can be enlarged for marketing and t-shirt design.
All designs should be submitted to Jenny Jones via email at [email protected] by April 18, 2022.
