We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.

The Girls on the Run curriculum is based on experiential learning activities designed to teach participants about topics related to self-respect and healthy living.

One person’s actions can change a girl’s life. Girls in our community are waiting for you to be that person. Serving as a Junior Coach is a fun and rewarding way to get involved with Girls on the Run! This volunteer position is for high school girls aged 16-18 years old who want to grow their leadership skills. Paired with a Mentor Coach, Junior Coaches receive support to develop their own skills while serving as role models to program participants.

Good morning from sunny Las Vegas! For a few days, the Girls on the Run Heart of Kansas staff will be at the Girls on the Run Summit presented by Team Milk! The Girls on the Run Summit is a professional development conference with inspiring keynote speakers, sessions by innovative leaders, a wide array of educational sessions led by industry experts and ample network opportunities to meet, and learn with sister councils.

We came down a day early to take in the breathtaking sights of the Valley of Fire State Park! Looking forward to soaking up all of the goodness, ideas and best practices to serve girls in our community!

Camp GOTR by Girls on the Run provides an intensive, one-of-a-kind opportunity for girls entering or exiting 3rd – 5th grades to develop self-confidence, learn life skills, and have fun.
