Friends University Alumni Association
Each year, we welcome approximately 1,000-plus new members to the Alumni Association. It is then the privileged duty of the Alumni Office to make sure that we not only assist our alumni with keeping in contact with one another, but also provide them with opportunities and experiences for staying connected to Friends University. The best part is that we do thi
s at no cost to our graduates! Once you have graduated (or earned at least 12 credit hours), you are automatically a member. But being a member of the Alumni Association means more than just having earned your degree. It means you are part of the Friends family and its legacy of being more than 26,000 members strong. Since 1898 when the University first opened its doors, our alumni have made an impression on the world around them:
Classmates have met, fallen in love and married; had children; and seen those children continue their family’s tradition of attending Friends. Organizations have gained employees whose college education at Friends gave them the tools to be leaders and strategic thinkers in every facet of every industry. Local and national communities have been touched by the Christian-based values and ethics our alumni bring through their support and dedication to charitable causes. Whether it is working with our alumni advisory boards at our Wichita, Topeka and Kansas City sites, hosting various events for our alumni and their families to enjoy, or even reaching out to our current students through scholarships and opportunities to learn more from experienced graduates, the Alumni Office is 100 percent committed to the success of its current and future members. We hope that as a member, you take advantage of the Friends alumni network and all that it has to offer. If there is anything that the Alumni Office can do for you, we invite you to contact us at 1-800-794-6945, ext. 5900, 316-295-5900, or [email protected]; or stop by and see us in the Davis Administration Building, second floor, room 204.
