We decided that we were in need of haircuts! Check out our before and after shots!

Fall has come to Ascension Lutheran Preschool! Our Pre-K classes painted us some beautiful fall leaves to decorate our coatroom and our Preschool classes made us some awesome pumpkins!

It was a success! Our Monday/Wednesday preschool class used yellow and red fingerpaint to see if we could make an orange pumpkin! It was so fun!

Tomorrow night is our Chick Fil A Fundraiser! Come eat some chicken and support Ascension Lutheran Preschool! Thank you!

And....we're off! The 2021-2021 school year has officially begun! Our hearts are filled with so much joy as we get to know our new students. It's going to be a great year...I just know it!

These amazing people took time out of their day today to make sure the playground is ready for our preschoolers next week. A special thank you to Cyndy and these youth for showing love to our ministry. You are so appreciated!

Our preschool t-shirts are in! How fun and colorful are these! I can't wait to see our preschoolers brightening up our hallways in their new shirts!

All the toys in the home living area are clean and ready to be played with! One more week to go until we get to welcome all our kiddos for another fun year of preschool!

Just got done filling the bookshelf with lots of great back-to-school books! Need some good books to read your preschooler before they go to school? Check out "The Kissing Hand" by Audrey Penn, "Pete the Kitty's First Day of Preschool" by James Dean, or "The Pigeon Needs To Go To School" by Mo Willems. They are some of my favorites!

Countdown to Preschool!!!
In two short weeks, we start our 2021-2022 school year! Here are a few tips on how to get your child ready for their first day:
1. Purchase a backpack together. Let your preschooler help pick out their backpack so that they feel like a "big kid".
2. Label your child's backpack and jacket with their name.
3. Let your child know who will be taking them to preschool and who will be picking them up from preschool. Reassure them that at school they will be loved and cared for just like at home.
4. Start using your child's "school bedtime" so they can get used to going to bed a little earlier.
