Last month, we partnered with Evergy to host our annual Fan Distribution, where we gave away 510 fans to 510 families in one day. Here are some of the stories from individuals who received fans to help them battle the heat this summer and beyond. We we would like to say thank you to the individuals who took the time to share their stories, and to Evergy for being an outstanding partner. We also express our gratitude to all the volunteers and donors who made this event possible!

The cold temps expected in the next 24 hours is reason enough to take advantage of this year's Warm Hearts Coat and winter wear Distribution. Winter is just around the corner. In just two days, The Salvation Army has given out hundreds and hundreds of coats and winter wear. But we have plenty more to give out. Let your neighbors know, our distribution continues through Friday, 10am to 3pm at all our locations in Wichita. #lovebeyondwarmth #keepingfamilywarm

Inaugural SCZ Safari Express Train and Martha Buford Award Dedication
It was trilling to experience the new Safari Express Railway roll into the Main Station this morning! We again thank Sedgwick County Zoo and the Buford Family for including a monument celebrating the Martha Buford Humble Servant Award as a small part of this fabulous Safari Express project. #lovebeyondwords #communitystrong

Another successful Community Event day making a difference in people's lives. Today we partnered with Sedgwick County Health Department and @Kansas Department of Revenue to provide those in need, like Billy, providing an ID, renewing a driver's license or receiving a COVID vaccine.
