Tinted SPF sunscreen, also known as tinted mineral sunscreen, provides more coverage than non-tinted sunscreen in a few ways:

- Pigments: Tinted sunscreen contains pigments that match different skin tones and create a visible tint that reflects visible light. This tint can even out skin tone and combat white cast.

- Mineral filters: Tinted sunscreen also contains mineral filters like zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, which create a physical barrier that reflects UV rays away from the skin.

ACNE AWARENESS MONTH 🪞✨

Let’s start this post by acknowledging acne and the MANY people who struggle with it on a daily basis (which is most of the population.)

Acne can range from mild to severe, teen to adult, all skin types, and colors! Most people deal with breakouts at some point in their life. It’s extremely common, despite what we see on social media.

To anyone struggling with their skin just know there are people who relate and understand how hard it is emotionally and physically to live with acne.

The end of an era…

It’s been one month as an employee and no longer running my business and I am LIVING for it. So many of you ask how I feel about this transition and here it is, the raw truth.

Becoming the esthetician for Hazel + Honey is something I battled within myself for months of Shelby and I working together.

I slept on it night after night.

When Shelby started her business and we were working side by side I truly started to fall in love with my work again. I realized how much I needed community and friendship. One of my favorite parts about work has always been my coworkers—I just love my friends. I have always been close to my work friends throughout the years. Over the past 5 years, being alone really did take a toll on me. I had nobody to keep me accountable, no one challenging me, and I fell into a slump.

I also had my daughter 2 years ago and I learned even more about myself as I’ve entered motherhood. I realized how critical sleep is lol. And one thing I don’t do well is being motivated / productive on no sleep. And when Navy got here, I didn’t sleep. Therefore I STRUGGLED. Navy has never been an easy child, my older kids are getting bigger and busier therefore my role in motherhood has required me to level up.

When Shelby started working with me, I found myself loving work again. I realized how critical comradery and thriving alongside a TEAM is for me in the workplace—something I definitely needed and missed.

I don’t feel sad or regretful.
I feel excited.
I feel motivated.
I finally feel like I can GROW in the direction I’ve been desperately trying to go in, I just couldn’t do it alone. And I don’t want to do it alone anymore. We are building an incredible team, an incredible space, and all the vibes are aligned.

Very thankful to be here and I’m glad you are too! 💕
