What a journey it has been as we continue to pursue our dream of opening a barbershop in Wichita PLUS many more in the future!!

Leaving a very successful barbershop in Ulysses, KS after 5 years was difficult but we also brought with us all the knowledge and wisdom that experience gave us which we are very thankful for.

We have been searching, negotiating, and praying for the right building and location and we are so excited to say that we have FINALLY secured THE ONE!!!

Trust us when we say we were exhausted after 2 different buildings fell through as we felt we had wasted months of our time. We have learned to wait and be patient. We believed the right building would come and it finally did. Thanks to Lindsay at JP Weigand Realtors🫶🏽

Follow along on our journey as we bring a new look and new name to our Wichita location. We are thrilled to be here. Our kids are flourishing in the Maize South schools and their sports. We are blessed!!

It has been an amazing 5 YEARS & we are so thankful for all God has done in our shop.
This is the last couple weeks to get a service by our barber, Adan Jaquez.

We have made lifelong friends. We have learned about growing a business. We have learned and seen God move in so many ways. We have raised our children here and served our community. It has been an honor and blessing to serve our HOMETOWN and Shayla’s birthplace.

We are leaving you in good hands- a full staff that is still available to serve the community and a wonderful new owner that has so many neat ideas for this space!! She will continue to run this business and space as a salon.

Thank you Laci, Alisha, Liz, Marki and Bree for being amazing women to work with- you have been wonderful friends and professionals. We will miss you & all the professionals that have worked alongside us the last 5 years.

We will announce our West Wichita location soon- we hope to be open within 60 days, after a remodel 🫣🫠
We will be offering the same professional, high-end men’s services we have become known by.
We are excited to serve the Maize community in our next season, and beyond that, if God allows.

Our dear friend Betty Volmert passed away this week. Barber services will be closed Monday and Tuesday so that we may attend her services and honor her life.

Betty’s life touched mine specifically when I moved to Wichita in 2017 to attend barber college.
Many of you know my story of how I became a barber, after a layoff from the gas industry.
Betty was a friend of my wife’s family for over 30 years, maybe even longer. She graciously opened her home to me while I went back to school to become a barber in Wichita.
Life would of been so much harder without Betty helping us during this time.
We offer our heartfelt condolences to her children and grandchildren.
Thank you Betty for your generosity and love. 💜💜🙏🏽🙏🏽
