Today, the voting body of women and men within the AGK Ministry Network followed the leading of the Spirit in electing the 10th Superintendent to this fellowship at the 106th Network Council. Please welcome Superintendent-Elect Pastors Nathan & Amber Sheridan along with their precious family! WE know that God will extend His anointing and faithfulness through this new season as WE continue to make Kansas an easy place to experience the presence and forgiveness of Jesus!

SAM Conference Thank you for your interest in the national AG Senior Adult Ministries (SAM) Conference scheduled for Sept. 4-6, 2024 in Branson, MO at the Hilton Hotel Convention Center!

The goal is to connect with those 50 years and older providing information on events, reaching the next generation, providing service opportunities, provide resources and much more. Post what is happening with ministry by 50+ in your church.

The SAM Conference will be held September 4-6, 2024 at the Hilton Hotel Conference Center in Branson, MO.
This SAM Conference will bring together senior adults from across our nation for a time of spiritual renewal, fellowship, and worship.
Our theme in 2024 is “Fresh and Flourishing”, taken from Psalm 92:14 (KJV):
“They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing.”
Each speaker, musical guest, and workshop leader have been carefully selected for your spiritual growth and enjoyment.

Royal Rangers leaders 55 years old and older are important to the continued growth of the Royal Rangers. If you are not active in Royal Rangers, but you would like to remain a part of the Royal Rangers ministry, why not join the RRA? Membership is not limited to "retired" Royal Rangers commanders, it is available to any Royal Rangers commander who is over 55 years old and in good standing with his/her church. As a RRA member you can serve as much or as little as you desire. Share your talents and skills with the boys and younger leaders by joining the RRA.

“July 23, 2022, Commander Ronnie Franklin, National RRA Coordinator, stepped across the threshold from this land to his heavenly calling following complications from a surgery. His wife Jan and daughters were with him. No details on services or other arrangements at this time.”

Heaven has gained a giant, and we have lost a friend. (For now).

Changes in requirement to be a Royal Ranger Alumni.

Royal Rangers Alumni is an affiliate program of Royal Rangers that provides former members of Royal Rangers with continuing opportunities to serve and advance the mission of Royal Rangers without being actively involved in an outpost. RRA membership is open to any adult with prior experience in the program. The following information defines the role of the RRA program in Royal Rangers. Please note that since this program is primarily administered by your district some details may vary from those provided here.

Mission & Purpose
Royal Rangers Alumni exists to support the ongoing mission of Royal Rangers by providing continuing opportunities for former Royal Rangers leaders and boys to provide service and support to the program without being directly involved in a Royal Rangers outpost. RRA members serve in a variety of roles in the district, such as:

Assisting with games, preparing meals, or other activities at the district Pow-Wow or other district Royal Rangers events
Serving on district action teams to provide oversight in specific areas of the program such as finances, training, or the campgrounds
Participating in camp improvement projects at the district campgrounds.
Representing and promoting Royal Rangers at non-RR events, such as Sectional minister’s meetings, summer camps, and district youth conferences
Collecting testimonies & stories from individuals about the ways the Royal Rangers program has impacted them, and sharing those stories on social media, district newsletter, national Royal Rangers news, and elsewhere
Membership Requirements
RRA membership does not require approval by a church to serve as children or youth worker (the current standard for active Royal Rangers outpost leaders) but does require the completion of a criminal background check (performed by the district) and the endorsement of your pastor as a suitable example of Christlike character. The following represents the standard requirements that must be met to attain RRA membership. Contact your district leadership to determine the actual requirements for your district.

Be 18 years of age or older
Be a former Royal Rangers leader (male or female) or formerly involved as a boy in Royal Rangers
Agree to support the work of Royal Rangers on an ongoing basis, through financial contributions OR by providing service at district Royal Rangers events.
Pass a national criminal & child abuse registry background check
Be endorsed by your pastor as a suitable example of Christlike character and attitude.
Submit a membership application & initial membership fee of $25.00 to the district office.
Agree to comply with the standards of the district at all times and to work in cooperation with district leaders in the performance of your duties.
