Riverfest Poster Contest: Wichita Area Artists, It's Your Time To Shine!

This is the house that Riverfest and Habitat For Humanity built during Riverfest 2023 along with Cushman and Wakefield and Rhoden Roofing, LLC. Today, Issac, Any and Exodus cut the ribbon and got the keys to their new house. Their new home is permanently filled with love, blessings, creativity and joy from the Brickmob mural and messages contributed by Riverfest attendees. Now that's a community celebration. Isaac and Any, welcome home!

These three have guided Wichita Festivals, Inc. (WFI) with intelligence, wit, and a deep desire to see the staff, Riverfest and Autumn & Art succeed at every turn. At last night’s October WFI Board of Directors meeting, we said thanks for their service and friendship as (l to r) Zach Fugate, Fugate Enterprises, and Tom Johnson, NAI Martens, Directors 2017-2023, stepped down from their roles and Todd Johnson, Summit Media, retired as Board Chairman 2022-2023. Thank you for all you’ve given to WFI. See you on the River!

Sunday, September 17, is the final day to take everything in! 🎨 🍂 Visit Bradley Fair and explore artists from both Kansas and beyond, presenting an eclectic mix of artistic mediums such as painting, photography, jewelry, sculpture, and much more. 🎨

Feeling artistic yourself? Create an edible masterpiece at the build-your-own bar experience with The Art of Bloody Marys from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.🍹 You can also grab a refreshment from the Parkway Bars for your enjoyment as you stroll and shop Autumn & Art.

Don’t forget the family fun! From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., we have Artie’s Creation Station, presented by Mark Arts, where kids can create their own mini-masterpieces and take them home free of charge. 🎨 This is also your chance to see artists and art instructors from Mark Arts in action as they do demonstrations of fine art, from pottery and painting to ceramics and more!

While you explore the artists’ booths, enjoy live entertainment throughout the day:
