Good morning ACDGC members! We wanted to send a BIG thank you to each of you who took the time to vote on the passing of our new bylaws.

We are pleased to announce that we received our 106th yes vote this morning and we have new bylaws. They will be uploaded to our new website which will be going live soon too so stay tuned for that.

ATTENTION ACDGC MEMBERS!!

We just sent out an email yesterday evening to all of our current membership. This includes the updates that we made to our current bylaws! Scott Dyer graciously conducted a full rewrite for us and they passed through the ACDGC board.

Attached below are the bylaws and a shorter summary of the bylaws (in case you don’t want to read it all). I am also going to put a poll below to collect more votes because we know not everyone uses email and there were a couple peoples emails we are missing.

It is highly important that we pass these updated bylaws because they will impact the club in applying for and obtaining 501(c)(3) tax exempt status!

We must get 106 yes votes to enact these new bylaws so each and every persons input is very important! Please help us out and if you have bylaw specific questions please email them to us at: [email protected].

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We are building a committee to get more community input/help with the two tournaments we run (Doo Dah and Round Up). Our goal is to elevate these events and make sure we include the feedback we received from players this year. If you are interested in joining us in this process please respond to this post or send us a personal message.

In terms of time commitment, we are planning to hold a meeting once a month to begin strategizing. We will be starting this in July.

We were blessed with beautiful weather, which made the weekend play fast and was a good time! I don't remember the last time we finished a Doo Dah this early on Sunday!

Pool A: MPO, MP40, MP50, MA1 - Will be playing Herman Hill on Saturday and Oak Park on Sunday. Both days will be Red Tees in the morning and Blue Tees after lunch. Tee Assignments are listed on the PDGA site.
