Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in office software, and have a strong ability to multitask. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide support to various departments and assist in the smooth operation of our office.

Duties:
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence
- Maintain and update company records and databases
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Coordinate meetings and events, including preparing agendas and taking minutes
- Assist with project coordination and follow-up on action items
- Provide customer service support to clients and visitors
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
- Perform front desk duties such as greeting visitors, directing calls, and maintaining a clean reception area

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop

Repair or replace wiring, equipment, fixtures, using hand and power tools.
Repair electrical equipment and systems in commercial settings

Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as but not limited to ohmmeters, amp meters, and voltmeters, to ensure compatibility and safety of system
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
Knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring
Install electrical systems such as ceiling fans, GFCIs, switches, and receptacles
Read and comprehend work order details
Knowledge of NEC commercial electrical codes and Evergy standards
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to perform mathematical calculations
Ability to diagnose and resolve problems
Install conduit underground and above ground
Pull circuitry through conduits
Fill out appropriate job-related paperwork such as material used on job & labor etc.

Requirements and Qualifications for position

High School diploma or equivalent is required
Minimum of one (1) year of field experience in commercial is required
Must maintain a positive attitude and work well with employees as well as customers & contractors
Reliability and dependability are an absolute must
Self-motivated and strong organizational and communication skills are a must
Have a valid Kansas Driver’s License with an insurable driving record
Work will mainly be in Sedgwick County, KS area but will also be in surrounding counties
Minimum hours of work will be from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
Must be able to work after hours if needed
Must be able to climb ladders, etc.
Able to work in the cold winter and hot summer weather
