Thank you Wichita running community! With your help we were able to fit a multitude of student athletes in a proper running shoe (and size!). A big shout out to Fartleks Running Shop for hosting us and housing all the shoes. And a big thanks to all those that volunteered their time to help fit shoes and those that donated shoes. We will do this again in the Spring for Track season!

One more chance to get your student athlete Run Ready: shoes for XC athletes. And if anyone has any gently used running shoes, please bring them to Fartleks Running Shop.

Cross Country teams are gearing up for their season and many athletes are in need of proper running shoes. We are reaching out to our amazing community for gently used running shoes to be donated. Please take them to Fartleks Running and we will get them fit on the athletes at our next Run Ready: shoes for XC athletes event on the 16th. Feel free to share this info to help get word out. Thank you!!

Your safety is always our top priority! Due to the forecasted high temperatures this week we’ve decided to:
🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏼‍♂️ Cancel Tuesday Night Track for 7/30 and suggest doing your workout in the early morning
🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏼‍♂️BUT we will still hold our Big River Social Run on Thursday and changing it to a “Meet & Greet Heat Walk”. You won’t want to miss this because there will be dinner, drinks, give-aways, and more!
💧Stay hydrated and stay cool, and thank you for understanding!

One week from today, we will have gently used running shoes available to Cross Country athletes at Run Ready: shoes for XC athletes! Runners, please consider donating any shoes you might have available ❤️

We need MENS shoes!! We will be distributing gently used shoes to student cross country athletes in August and we need to replenish our men sizes. All shoes can be donated at Fartleks Running Shop or any Run Wichita event. Thanks!
