Galaxy (middle school) is already hard at work on our first unit which combines literature, geography, grammar/usage, punctuation, art, vocabulary, and writing.

💚 First Days at a Nature and Play-Based School look a little different than at a traditional school.💚 We spent time in the garden, playing games, singing songs, building forts, making mud pies, learning procedures and routines, and making new friends. We can’t wait to get started learning and growing together this year!

💚Our Back to School Parent Work Day was a great success!! We had an amazing turnout and got all our projects completed from our list! We even got to spend some time getting to know four of our new Green Gate families who came to help. Thank you to everyone who made it out to contribute so we can be ready for the new school year! We are definitely feeling the love here at GGCS! 💚

Ocean Week was so much fun! We had boat races in the water table, made starfish art, explored shells and starfish from the Pacific Ocean, and had a yummy water themed Jello treat!

☀️We had a blast at the Green Gate Summer Play date!

SPACE WEEK: We had a blast last week learning about constellations, planets, and the sun! Some of our activities included galaxy playdough, alien apples, Oreo moon phases, constellation chalk drawings, and rocket 🚀 launches! We rounded out the week with lots of outdoor and water play!

In our very last full week of preschool, we continued learning about gardening in preparation for summer time! 🐞We learned the letter K and the kids made kites. We also learned about what critters we can find in the garden, such as toads, moles, rabbits, and more! 🥕
