The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying spray foam insulation in residential and commercial buildings, ensuring a high-quality finish and meeting strict safety and environmental standards. This role requires a strong background in construction, with experience in insulation and construction painting. The successful applicant will also have a solid understanding of mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:

- Install spray foam insulation in walls, floors, and ceilings of residential and commercial buildings.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment to perform tasks efficiently.
- Troubleshoot issues and perform repairs as needed.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications:

- Experience in the construction industry, with a focus on insulation and construction painting.
- Understanding of mechanical systems
- Familiarity with spray foam insulation installation procedures and materials.
- Ability to operate hand tools and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel (1-2 night stays on occasion)
- Must be able to work off ladders / operate scissor lifts

Responsibilities:

Review your daily work schedule and ensure truck is loaded with all product(s), tools and equipment for the day.
Safe transportation to work sites
Unload and install material at job site according to work order
Perform warehouse related duties as necessary.

"I have a “smart” thermostat and get monthly reports. We found a window in our basement that was open for most of the month, otherwise I think the stats would be even better. The report I just got for July was that on average it was 5 degrees warmer (that’s a lot over a month), and yet we used 26 hours less cooling. I think it was a good call to get the insulation when we did! I thought it would be better, but I had no idea it would help this much."

When critters get into your attic and start bedding down and bringing their dinner in there, it should be properly cleaned out and disposed of.

Removing damaged insulation makes for a cleaner install and provides optimal performance.

Should old insulation be removed? In most cases new insulation can be added over top of the existing. In this case, where there is damaged, wet insulation, it should absolutely be removed before new insulation is installed.

Thinking about a home remodel? Closed cell foam and open cell foam are popular choices for roof decks and crawl spaces.
