BadAsh Cosplay

WIP Wednesday: today we bring you solid evidence of just how Type A I am. I give you one spreadsheet for 4 Sailor Scout cosplays currently in the works. Alongside and we are hard at work making FOUR cosplays so we can each have an Inner and an Outer Senshi cosplay. Although these cosplays are "simple" (they really aren't) there are a lot of pieces to keep track of. This spreadsheet helps us know what to work on next and lets us celebrate what we have accomplished. We also keep the four cosplays in 4 separate totes for easier organization. I think organization is one of my super skills, but don't tell anyone~

Throwback to my first formal photoshoot with Lucky Photo . I knew nothing about posing or making facing or angles and looking at these really makes me appreciate all the practice I've done and photoshoots Sam has done with me. I've grown so much, and I have lots more to go!

Fun fact: that purple dress is made of the same fabric as my Beerus ears/top/tail/gloves/leg tubes. Bwahahahahhahaa.

I wore V8 Weiss (and made Ninja be casual Mercury) the last day of Planet Anime for our RWBY panel! It went really well and I have to thank for being willing to join me in running the panel. We had cute debates about different character matchups until we had a "best" character. Any guesses who won? I was definitely surprised...

Throwback to version 1 and version 2 of my Beerus cosplay. Version 3 debuting at PAKC in just over a week!

What a BadAsh!

I have been cosplaying for over 10 years and I’ve been on all over the board in the cosplay world. From making cosplays, buying cosplays, altering cosplays, photoshoots, contests, running panels, and organizing cosplay events, I like to think I have some experience worth sharing. I’m self-taught with my beginning being from my grandmother and mother teaching me to sew when I was very young. I really enjoy cosplay because it gives me a chance to meet other nerds and look like a fantasy character. I usually cosplay characters because I love their personality or story, and their outfit! I tend to lean towards strong characters; your typical “badass.” The best part about doing all of this is that I get to push myself and be creative, while also setting goals and achieving great fun. ^_^
