Community Service Board is a Wichita State University student run organization. This organization provides Passionate Service Together.
Not only does CSB provide opportunities to help in the community, we create opportunities. Any student of Wichita State University is high encouraged to join CSB. There are five Executive Board members:
President, Vice President, Programming Chair, Large Event Chair, Special Projects Chair

Are you looking for a great volunteer opportunity? Join us on April 16th for Open Streets ICT - WSU in Shocker Neighborhood!
This FREE neighborhood community-building event will take place along 17th Street, just south of Wichita State University. We will host a full day of physical activity, food trucks, music, and fun!
Volunteers are needed for set-up, tear-down, and other tasks. Volunteer shifts are from 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., 10:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m., and 2:00-6:00 p.m.

Are you wanting to get more involved with the surrounding community?
There will be a volunteering opportunity this Saturday, April 1st from 9am-12pm! We will be focusing on two alleys on North Green and Estelle and North Green and Poplar and completing yardwork/ painting a house. We will have snacks and water as a thank you for helping! Wu's Big Event XV was a huge success!!
Big shout out to our volunteers this weekend!!! We had over 140 volunteers and collectively provided 720 hours of service!!
Non-profits such as Rainbows United, Sedgwick County Zoo, The Lord’s Dinner, and many more were able to put our shockers to work!
Don't forget we have another Wu's Big Event in the Fall!!

We had a great day on Saturday and look forward to more volunteer work with the Shocker Neighborhood Coalition.
We held our first Brush Up! Shocker Neighborhood community wide clean up over the weekend 10/22, and had great success! We are excited and eager to strengthen the relationship and increase participation of the university within Shocker Neighborhood through collaborative service opportunities like this. With much pride we were able to work alongside our neighbors to cut trees down, pick up trash in the area, and paint graffiti!
This wouldn’t have been possible without all our partners: WSU Office of Engagement , Urban League of Kansas, Wichita Police Dept., Wichita Independent Neighborhoods , Wichita State University Community Service Board , Atwater Neighborhood City Hall, Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC),
Thank you to the volunteers: Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Kansas, Wichita State University Student Government Association, The Bridge Church and more!
Thank you to City of Wichita and the Parks and Rec. Department for providing equipment to help us beautify our city.

Community Service Board
The Community Service Board (CSB) is a student ran organization out of Student Involvement founded in 2014. CSB seeks to unite individuals in creating collective actions, which will address issues of public concern through service and active citizenship in the community. The members of CSB seek to do this in a number of ways: series programs, service in the city events, large-scale community service events, weekly meetings and walk-by table events. These events are put on by the Executive Board which is comprised of a president, three vice-presidents, and four service chairs. Our members assist in these events and attend weekly membership meetings. CSBers strive to make their better their community and provide passionate service together.

Series Programs: Mentoring Mondays, Wednesdays at the Diner, Food Bank Fridays and Senior Saturdays
